IPL PhotoFacial

Light-Based Skin Rejuvenation

IPL PhotoFacial

IPL PhotoFacial is a gentle, non-invasive treatment that uses controlled pulses of light to improve sun damage, brown spots, facial redness, visible capillaries, and uneven skin tone. Each treatment is customized to your skin type and concerns, helping reveal a clearer, brighter, and more even-looking complexion.

A consultation is required to confirm that IPL is suitable for your skin and treatment goals.

Targeted Light Therapy

How IPL works

Controlled light energy targets unwanted pigment and visible redness while supporting skin renewal.

1
Target
Customized pulses of broad-spectrum light are directed toward brown pigment, redness, and visible vessels without removing the skin’s surface.
2
Break Down
The light converts to gentle heat within the targeted pigment or blood vessels, allowing the body to gradually clear the treated discoloration.
3
Renew
As the skin recovers, tone and clarity improve while controlled heat supports collagen production for smoother, healthier-looking skin.

Treatment Preparation

Pre & Post Treatment Protocols

Following these guidelines helps support treatment safety, comfort, and optimal results.

Pre Laser Instructions

Arrive with clean skin and remove makeup, perfume, creams, oils, and sunscreen from the treatment area. Avoid tanning and excessive sun exposure before treatment. IPL is not performed during pregnancy. Inform your practitioner about all medications, supplements, medical conditions, recent procedures, and any history of light sensitivity before your appointment.

Post Laser Instructions

Avoid direct sunlight and excessive heat on the treated area. Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen daily to exposed areas such as the face, neck, chest, and hands. Do not pick or scrub darkened spots as they naturally fade. Use gentle skincare and follow all personalized aftercare instructions provided by your practitioner.

After Your Appointment

What to expect

Mild temporary changes are normal while the treated skin settles and renews.

1
First 24 Hours
The skin may feel warm or appear mildly red. Keep the area cool, clean, moisturized, and protected from direct sunlight.
2
Following Days
Brown spots may temporarily darken before gradually fading or flaking. Avoid picking, exfoliating, or using harsh active products.
3
Follow-Up
Additional treatment may be scheduled approximately three to four weeks later. A re-examination may be recommended after your treatment series.
Good to Know

Common questions

How many IPL treatments will I need?

The number of sessions depends on the concern being treated, its severity, the treatment area, and how your skin responds. A series of approximately three to six treatments may be recommended for optimal improvement.

Is IPL PhotoFacial painful?

Most clients tolerate the treatment well. The DermaLase cooling system helps improve comfort, while each pulse may feel like brief warmth or a light snapping sensation.

When will I see results?

Some improvement may become visible as treated pigmentation and redness fade over the following days and weeks. Results continue to develop gradually throughout a treatment series.

Can IPL treat every skin tone?

IPL is not suitable for every skin tone, condition, or type of pigmentation. A consultation and skin assessment are required so treatment settings and suitability can be determined safely.
