Why clients choose Laser Hair Removal
Professional treatment for smoother skin and less daily maintenance.
Pre Treatment
Proper preparation supports safer treatment and more consistent results.
Prepare the treatment area
Shave the area approximately 24 hours before your appointment. Arrive with clean skin free of makeup, perfume, deodorant, lotion, self-tanner, sunscreen, or other topical products.
Avoid hair removal at the root
Do not wax, tweeze, thread, or use an epilator for at least two weeks before treatment. The hair follicle must remain present for the light energy to target it effectively.
Protect your skin from the sun
Avoid sunbathing, tanning beds, and excessive sun exposure for at least two weeks before treatment. Inform your provider about any recent tanning or self-tanning products.
Review medications and health history
Tell your provider about medications, supplements, skin conditions, recent procedures, and any history of unusual scarring or pigmentation. IPL treatment is not performed during pregnancy.
Post Treatment
Keep the area cool
Avoid hot baths, hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and excessive heat for at least 24 hours after treatment.
Avoid irritation
Do not apply perfume, fragranced lotions, deodorant, or makeup to the treated area for 24 hours. Mineral makeup may be used if approved by your provider.
Limit exercise and sweating
Avoid strenuous exercise and activities that cause heavy sweating for approximately 24–48 hours after treatment.
Protect treated skin
Avoid direct sun exposure and apply a broad-spectrum, hypoallergenic sunscreen of at least SPF 30 to exposed treatment areas.

Smoother skin with lasting hair reduction
Each treatment targets a portion of actively growing hair follicles. Over a complete treatment series, regrowth typically becomes finer, lighter, and less noticeable, while the skin feels smoother and easier to maintain.
Following treatment, patients should expect
Most clients return approximately every eight weeks so the next treatment can target a new group of hairs in the active growth stage. Do not wax or tweeze between sessions; shaving is permitted.
How many treatments will you need?
Your plan will be adjusted according to the treatment area, hair texture, and individual response.
Possible risks
Risks are reduced through proper consultation, conservative treatment settings, medical-grade equipment, careful skin assessment, and following all pre- and post-treatment instructions.
Common questions
How many treatments will I need?
Most clients require six to eight treatments. Additional sessions or occasional maintenance may be needed depending on the area, hair texture, hormonal factors, and individual response.
When will I begin to see results?
Hair may begin shedding during the weeks following treatment. Many clients notice progressive reduction after each session, with more visible improvement after completing several treatments.
How often are treatments performed?
Treatments are generally scheduled approximately eight weeks apart. Your provider may adjust the interval based on the treatment area and your natural hair-growth cycle.
Is Laser Hair Removal painful?
Most clients describe a brief snapping or warming sensation. The DermaLase system includes cooling technology designed to improve comfort during treatment.
